On the picture the Baltic Ace. This vessel was laying in one of the most busy sailing route’s. That’s why it had to be removed. This vessel lay 65 km of the coast of Goeree-Overflakkee. With the NRM Saw winches the vessel was sawn into pieces and decommisioning took place on shore.
On the picture the B Oceania. After a collision it sank in the Malacca Straight. This vessel is also cut into pieces with our NRM Saw winches to complete the salvage. Using our equipment, the B Ocenia could be salvaged in a correct way.
Besides the NRM Saw winches and NRM Chain pullers we supply additional services and/or machines for different applications.
For the salvage of a lot of containers from the seabed Next Rental Maritime B.V. supplied excavators with additional hydraulic equipment. The machines are used on deck of a vessel to cut the containers into pieces with a hydraulic shear, and to sort out all the materials.
We also supplied operators for these excavators.
All our NRM equipment has been developed in the past by Mammoet Salvage. During building of all the equipment Mammoet had control of the total process. These salvage specialist sdeveloped a lot by their selves, because this equipment was not for sale anywhere in the world.
A lot of equipment is specific developed for special salvage jobs. Like the salvage of the Kursk in the Barentsz Sea.
We use the knowledge and experience of Jos Kromwijk. He was present at the salvage of the Kursk on the jobsite. Besides this salvage, he proved his skills on several other salvage projects.
